With the industry in commotion over last week’s Arizona Court of Appeals decision that left the legality of extracts in limbo, it’s a good time to go over the variety of products available in dispensaries and the processes used to make them.

These products come in the form of wax, vape cartridges, tinctures, and topicals, and are used in the process of making edibles.Many patients rely on these products not only as an alternative to smoking, or sometimes vaping, the raw flower of the cannabis plant, but also for precision dosing that provides the amount of medicine they need consistently, whether THC, CBD, or some of the other compounds found in cannabis.
